Indian Film and TV Producers Council (IFTPC) in collaboration with Mukul Madhav Foundation & Finolex Industries distributed food items and personal hygiene products to the junior artists and art department workers along with pepper spray and safety alarm kits to womenAs part of the multiple initiatives undertaken by IFTPC in India’s fight against the Coronavirus, Indian Film and TV Producers Council along with Mukul Madhav Foundation & Finolex Industries provided essential food items like atta, dal, rice and much more to the junior artists and art department workers in distress.In addition to providing meals, IFTPC have made meaningful contributions by providing soaps, sanitisers and much more to the workers and their families.Women who would not otherwise have been able to afford personal protection recently received, pepper spray and safety alarm kits dedicated to providing them with self-defense tools.The kit contained 16 items weighing about 17 kg plus two safety items.
The safety items were distributed under the Women Safety program of IFTPC.Shyamasis Bhattacharya Director and convener of Women Safety program said that more positive actions will be taken to safeguard the women workers of the industry.J.D Majethia, Chairman TV & Web, IFPTC who spearheaded the entire campaign said “Their income comes Bollywood and Television.
