Dance movies, beats, hot and cute faces – what else do you need? And now you have it all in Remo D’Souza directorial Street Dancer 3D.
Sahej (Varun Dhawan) from India is in the dance troop ” Street Dancer ” and Inayat from Pakistan is in dance troop “Rule Breaker” are professional dancers though both are hardcore enemies but unite for one good cause.
Now that it’s a dance movie, you all might think it’s all about dance and a lame story in it, no! To your surprise, the story has enough to keep you engrossed. The fun fights between India – Pakistan match or the match tension pulled out on the floor to the issue of illegal immigrants in London to the Amazing songs and dance moves – you are sorted for next two and a half hour. The best part is – with everything going around the plot doesn’t get distracted.
Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor and Nora are all matching with the best dancers.
The surprising factor is Shraddha Kapoor, who looks oh so sexy and intense with that “I know I am a bad bitch yet perfect” attitude.
And by now we know Nora can raise the temperature and boy, she has!
I’ll specially mention Aparshakti Khurrana, who till now has done side roles in comedy gene but this time the actor has proved us that if he can make us laugh he can also make us feel emotional.
The music – Garmi, Lagdi Lahore di, Gabru, Dua Karo among others are already hitting the chartbusters high but one sequence which is worth everything is watching Prabhu Deva dancing on 80’s iconic number Muqabla, recreated by Bagchi.
Overall the movie is a solid hit with its emotions, dance, music, dialogues. For me, it’s 4 stars out of 5.0 because even if there are any problems you can easily sideline it because you’ll be busy hooting and grooving along like I was.
