The joint team of Special Staff of Central District and P.S. Kamla Market has apprehended five notorious robbers/thieves namely Sagar age 25years, Gulshan Age 24 Years, Akash age 22 years, Tulsi Age 40 Years, Sonu Age 37 years and recovered cash of Rs. 9.45 Lac.
On 15/07/20, Himanshu resident of Ansari road Darya Ganj reported that his collection boy namely Binda Prasad collected Rs 20.50 Lac from Chandni Chowk from his known businessman and kept the money inside his bagpack. When, he was on the way to office on bike someone have stolen cash of Rs 17.50 Lac from the bag. Subsequently, case under section 379 IPC PS Kamla Nagar was registered and investigation was taken up.
TEAM & OPERATION
Seeing the gravity of the case as a huge amount was involved, a joint team lead by Inspector Lalit Kumar, I/C Special Staff comprising of SI Gajender, ASI Satvir, HC Rakesh, HC Vinod, HC Santosh, and Ct Pankaj under the supervision of Sh. O.P. Lekhwal, ACP/Operation, Central District and second team led by Inspector Ved Prakash, SHO/Kamla Market, Inspector Shyoram Yadav, ATO/ Kamla Market comprising of SI Mahesh Bhargav, HC Mahavir, Ct Vikrant and Ct Aakash under the supervision of Sh. Anil Kumar ACP/Kamla Market Delhi was formed. The team members were assigned with specific tasks to get clue and nab the culprits.
INVESTIGATION AND APPREHENSION
During investigation the joint team collected intelligence in the area and gathered information and continued their operation and worked upon every minute lead. The route was analyzed and footage of more than 100 CCTV cameras were checked. Informers were detailed. During analysis of CCTV footage two thieves namely Tulsi of Nabi Karim and Sagar of Kishanganj, Delhi were identified. Moreover the technical surveillance was also mounted.
Finally, on 19/07/20 the teams received information and succeed to nab the culprit namely Tulshi Age 40 Yrs. On sustain interrogation of accused Tulsi revealed details of his associates including Sagar, Gulshan, Akash, Sonu Above said accused persons were arreted and cash Rs. 9.45 lacs was recovered.
Accused persons first identifies the targets generally carrying huge amount of cash, they follow the target and wait for some congested traffic place. Then one diverts the attention of target by provoking him in some trifle scuffle or heated talk and then the others took out the money from the bag being carried by target without him even realizing it.
