Prassthanam Movie Team Came to Delhi For the Grand Trailer Launch

Today, the star cast of Movie “Prassthanam” – Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Chunky Panday, Ali Fazal, Satyajeet Dubey, and Amyra Dastoor along with director Deva katta came to National Capital for the trailer launch of their upcoming political drama. The launch was held at Carnival Cinemas, Connaught Place, New Delhi.

Prasstham is a political Drama Movie about a family and its relationships. Directed by Deva Katta and Produced by Maanyata Dutt.

Present at the event, Producer Maanayata spoke about bringing such an amazing star cast together, ” Bringing such a wonderful star cast was not at all a problem for me because they more like a family. Everyone managed their dates for this movie. Even though Chunky was busy with another movie, he also had mustache issue but he managed to be on the board.

Sanjay Dutt spoke about Working on sets of Prassthanam and Maanayata as a Producer, ” I had to be on time on the sets, being a producer I didn’t have any perks.”
Also, he praised the young talents Ali Fazal, Satyajeet Dubey, and Amyra Dastoor by saying ” I also want to Thank you guys for being a part this project, you have really made a difference to this movie.”

Jackie Shroff on reuniting with Maisha Koirala and Sanjay Dutt Spoke that, “I felt really happy and it was a very amazing experience. We three have a very deep bond, so whenever we meet we feel the same happiness in our hearts. And by God’s grace, we are fit and fine so we are able to play, dance, fight and act. (He said Sarcastically).”

Chunky Pandey spoke about his look and character in the movie, “I am the only person wearing Suits in the movie. I also used to wear glasses to hide my look for Prassthanam. This character is very slimy and its next move is very unpredictable.”

When asked Ali Fazal about playing a similar character as “Guddu bhaiya” from Mirzapur in the movie and his experience working with such a great cast ,he said ” No, it’s actually not same it is banaras and it was UP but people from Delhi and Mumbai don’t really see a much difference in that and you’ll see me playing different other characters and the experience was exceptional.”

Apart from Prasthanam, Sanjay also has Ashutosh Gowarikar’s Panipat and Bhuj The Pride of India – both films are currently under production. He will also shoot for a special appearance in Mahesh Bhatt’s Sadak 2 that stars Alia Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapur.
Helmed by Deva Katta, ‘Prassthanam’ is the Hindi remake of the 2010 Telugu film with the same name. It is a political drama showing what the desire for power can lead to. The film is slated to hit the cinemas on 20th September this year.
