Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan are all set to unite on screen for the very first time in Imtiaz Ali’s upcoming film, touted to be a sequel to Deepika Padukone and Saif Ali Khan’s Love Aaj Kal. While the film is yet to receive a title, it has been in the news ever since the movie was first announced and ever since then, the fans can’t wait for the movie. And today, the team wrapped up the shoot for the film, where everyone seems to have gotten emotional and took their social media accounts to express their feelings.
Sara wrote: “Thank you @kartikaaryan instantly making me comfortable with you, for selflessly giving and for consistently looking out for me. From coffee’s about you to chai’s with you, I wish we could do it all over again I’m going to miss you more than you know and more than I can admit.” Along with the post, she shared many pictures from behind the shoot scenes. However, it was a picture of Sara lovingly hugging Kartik that made hearts melt.
Kartik wrote a heartfelt post on social media, where he said, “When Veera says “…Par yeh raasta, yeh bahut accha hai. Mein chahti hoon ki yeh raasta kabhi khatam na ho” This is what shooting with @imtiazaliofficial feels like. 66 days were wayyy too less. It’s a wrap. A film i never wanted to end. Actor Randeep Hooda shared a post with a series of behind the scenes photographs with the caption: “It’s a WRAP!! 66 days & a million memories 🙂 Releasing on 14th Feb 2020.” Imtiaz Ali also broke the news with a group photo with the entire team. The gorgeous Sara too, penned a heartfelt message thanking the team: “It’s a WRAP!! 66 days & a million memories Thank you @imtiazaliofficial for making my dream come true I truly appreciate your warmth, patience and consideration with me every single day. Being on your set has been a privilege that I will always cherish and already miss.”
