Abhay Doel launched the trailor of his sports drama film – JUNGLE CRY at Cannes 2019

The film Jungle Cry is based on the true story of rugby coach Rudraksh Jena of Bhubaneswar’s Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences, who is played by Abhay Deol, and twelve boys from Odisha who prepare to compete at the Junior Rugby World Cup, 2007.
The makers of film Jungle Cry decided to release the trailer and poster at the 72nd annual Cannes Film Festival.

Abhay also shared the poster in his Instagram post –

The film is produced by Prashant Shah and Shabbir Boxwala and is directed by Sagar Ballary. Other than Abhay Deol, the film also stars Emily Shah who will be seen playing the role of Roshni Thakkar, the sports physiotherapist of the team. Rajesh Shah who plays one of the players in the film had said that he is sure the film will help the game gain popularity in India.
